It is of utmost importance that you have all your necessary paperwork done.
First you must go to the Education Ministry to validate your graduation diploma (University or High School) and to get a stamp from the Foregin Ministry on it.
You must then translate into English this Diploma then notarize the translation. Next step is going to the Justice ministry to validate the Notarized translation and then again to the Foreign MInistry for the stamp.
At the end you have to go to the UAE Embassy for the last stamp.
I do not remember all the cost, is maybe around 100-150 de euro and if you move fast you can finish all in few days. I say this because you must get appointments everywhere in advance, but can be done!
You must prove all your credentials here in order to get a better job and a better salary. If you can get a managerial position it will be specified on your residence visa and ,believe me, that makes a difference.
