I think that mixt marriages work, that depens of you and your partner and you shouldn't care what other people think.

Yes sure you are right Sunrise,but what we do when our parents are not agree???To not care also :hmmm:

....??Even some marriages working,but we must accept that not all , most of them faces problems because of the mentality of others.Me myself i'm agree with that,i don't see anything wrong in that!

Helooo,
i readed your conversation and seems very interesting to me.I think the mix marriages will work,but in many casses as you said Mya parents may not be so pleased with the ideea marrying some one from different v\country...
So i think there are some steps we can convence our parents:

Step 1:
Try to convince your parents that marriage with someone you love is not a bad choice.

Step 2:
To do that you can try to explain them that you can try to celebrate all religious holidays like Christmas and Hanuka,Ramadan or other mix holidays.

Step 3:
The other thing that you have to explain that your children from mix marriage will choose their religious believe. For example if one of the parent is Jewish,chirstian or muslim you can tell that your child will have the choice to choose their religion.

BUT....
But the most thing that is important is trying to show your love to each other and that will also convince your parents to agreed to your marriage.

I understand that you will have some problem with your parents agreement whenever the religious and nationality difference you have but you can always try to do that and who know maybe you will convince them.
